Let me use this time to say that there is no forum hosted by any server that is as educative and informative like our lovely Nairaland!
I got to the Embassy around 4:45am (I was the 1st to appear for interview), waited till abt 6:00am and the 1st security check was done and we queued up-Immigrant line.
After abt 20mins, we proceeded to collect tag and next security check afterwards... Till we got to the interview hall-- submitted my documents and waited till abt 9: 30 my number appeared @ window 14

Congrats to your wife, if I may ask whats her case number? The most important thing is to read the forms carefully after filling send to KCC immediately there is no point in waiting to October coz thats the period that the respective embassies will begin issuing immigrant visas to dv winners of 2014

Am Kenyan in Naija family, print out the notification. Then visit www.dvselectees.state.gov fill the dsp forms caredully and submit to KCC. Join thread Dv 2014 winners u'll get more info. Hope av been of help

What kind of error? You can call kcc am sure they will give u the guideline.

Thats Confirmation Number. Case Number goes like 2014AFOOO and your number after the 000's.

A visa denial under section 221(g) of the INA means that the consular officer did not have all of the information required to determine if you are eligible to receive a visa. This means you are not eligible for the visa now, but your case is pending further action for one of the following reasons:

pjogutum1: Thank God the American’s are making the DV lottery more interesting and putting agents out of business. Those with misplaced confirmation number can now check their results without much problem on this site https://www.dvlottery.state.gov/%28S%28blc0gi45b3thjo45nn2sg2ql%29%29/Secure/StatusCheck.aspx what this also indicate is that those with high numbers may not be too comfortable anymore especially with respect with DV 2014 winners. First I didn’t believe it works, but I tried it with my data and Gbam! My confirmation number appeared. The world is really a global village. If an agent claims that you won, forget him/her and proceed to the site above afterall the site is not in their control. Cheers to all and happy weekend.

Do you know anyone in the states? If yes use his or her address coz thats where they will mail your greencard. If not I gez you will have to find an alternative option.

That will make things more complicated, changing statements like that is FRAUD. I stand to be corrected coz if it was a minor error that would have been acceptable....if the initial application he applied as single, then after being selected he states that hes married Dont you think if he sends another set of forms as single it will raise eyebrows? Hes messed it but as I said I stand to be corrected.
