@All, Its been a while since I posted on here having been refused visa last year which left me hurt.I was denied based on the following:
1. No tution hence acceptance void. I paid the tuition as requested by the sch but sent the invoice to cdhc by email.
2. sponsor not credible. i did not include tax clerance certificate cos my sponsor has none
3. refused finances.dis i dont understand.
I however have resulted in applying again with the help of this forum I think I can scale tru this time.

@newacca, u av been a source on encouragement to many on this forum.I am suprised u are still waiting to get ur visa but God will give u the reason to smile soon.I concur with u about ur post on the tax clearance certificate, i hope I am able to get the vat id from IRS.

@joebuster, my original start date is september 7th.
@chukie94, yes my school has agreed to 1 week extention till the 16th of september.I have also forwarded the letter to the embassy.Hopefuly dey would change their mind and concider giving the visa before then.I pray.

@all, CDHC sent me a mail today saying that i should provide an alternative start date.I dont know wat more to say , I am indeed confused cos the program i choose dont av for January untill September 2011.Can i change to a new program with January start date.

was at the embassy yesterday till3.30pm 1 guy was given is visa in the morning while the others were told to send an email with passport details.A friend of mine was told to contact his courier.However i meet wit a lady that works directly with the visa section.she said that applications of does that submitted in may is treated as priority and most will be issued btw now and next week.they are aware of the sch resumption dates and they are responsible for the delay.so all should be patient and awaits their visa soon

@cuddlemii, On Monday the 5th sept is a public holiday in Canada, its very likely the embassy wont work on dat day.U should reconsider going Friday or Tuesday.

Was at CDHC yesterday before 7am. They refused to attend to any enquires both people for visitor's visa except those on appointment. They said everyone should go send them an email and if you get a positive response from them that your application has been finalized, then print out the email and come back. Most times they don't reply means they've not concluded yours. I did as they said and got a reply that the are still awaiting my medical results from Paris And also they are not observing the public holidays, they observe mainly canadian holidays, so they are working today n tomorrow.

its a positive sign that CDHC wont observe d public holiday, it would have increased the processing times by 2 days. when did u do ur medicals?I sure will send them a mail straight away.I did my Medicals on the 10th of august and submitted my application of the 27 may , my sch starts on the 6th sept.

@all, still waiting patiently for cdhc, my program starts on the 6th and my schools says 9th is the last day to be class wat do i do NOW!
@toluaids,congrats, I am so happy for u especially knowing u also had the other letter attached, at least there is hope for us who also had same letter.U need to hurry up and book for ur flights now cos most of these airlines don't have space until the 9th,except u want the business class. if u have get anything close let me know.Thanks

is the company also sponsoring u, if yes then the statement of account is important, also documents like letter of introduction of employment, recommendation letter, memorandum of association, CO7, CO2, Tax clearance certificate will do.If the company wats to only pay the return ticket the it shuld be in the recommendation letter addresd to cdhc.

@Tolualds, it takes two weeks and some days to get back to the embassy , they use the remender to work on ur visa.the embassy says visa 3-4weeks after medical instruction b4 visa is issues.
@chizquare, did u go ahead to make the tuition payment for the other terms?how much is ur school fees per term.i paid 6700 cad dol for 1 term of 3 terms.Hope it does nt apply to me too?dat will mean having to pay another 10,000dol.

@Delta, I was able to book appointment with the clinic in VI on Wednesday thru the help of a staff there.there are no available appointments dates until the 23rd.Thanks a lot for the idea.

@All medical hopefuls, i encourage you to book appointments with the clinics pending when u receive medical instructions.

@all, I got instruction for medicals today.I had to go to dhl office to collect it since they wont bring it having received it on Thursday from CDHC.I submitted my application on the 27th of may but have since been writing them to know the application status.They replied only yesterday to acknowledge receipt of my application.

@omosanyaolak and others, Try sending them mails reminding them of your program start date.I believe you will get instructions for medicals before end of next week.

I have already booked for medicals at VI on the 15th of this month and my program starts on the 6th of September.

Considering the number of person posting here on this forum as compared to previous fall set, they sure have an unpresedented increase in the number of applicants.But one might be lucky if more documents are not requested.

@newacca, u need not worry since u av been confirmed ok, however they will have to confirm it themselves from the result of the test.it is well with you so says the Lord Almighty.

@all, i went to CDHC yesterday to collect my sponsors documents who has been on my neck cos she needs it for an appointment with the uk embassy.But i was told i could only withdraw my entire application which i could not do.i felt bad cos i am denying my sponsor her doc for her stuff.mine is in the 9th week now.

@u can update ur application by attaching the invoice of the sch tuition and send to the email address i sent earlier.However if the school demands the payment of tuition fee before a stipulated deadline, i advise u go ahead and pay so long u are paying directly to the school and not thru any agent.the school fees is refundable less 250 can dollars so go ahead.

@monie, i applied on the 27th of may and i have not resived any information from cdhc, ur case is peculiar to many on this forum.wat sch did u apply to cos i am also going for GIS.u can send the invoice of the accommodation you paid by email to lagos.immigration@international.gc.ca .Who mandated you to pay for all tuition fee.

@chukie. i suppose not, cos u shuld know the tracking Number cos u sent the package.

@chizquare, if the sponsors documents were certified copies, i will advise u also provide originals.u dont need to provide the sponsors statement of account, they need to ascertain ur claims as regards your annual salary

@all, this is my 7th week, all those with September start dates, I think the embassy wont issue this visas until the second and third week in August irrespective of the submission date.

@newacca, I want to believe the verification of the statement of acct which u presented went well.u av just two weeks to the starting of ur program.i advice u go to cdhc to remind them of the start date.u might to be instructed to go for medicals at the spot.give it a try ok

Its surprising how CDHC does there processing. But I want to believe it does not take a long time to verify or process the documents of one single applicant, CDHC receives a whole lot of application hence the 3months processing time. Since your school resumes on the 16th of August its likely u would hear from them before the 15th of July otherwise I advice u check up on them again.

u dont need to alter the documents except for all documents addressed to cdhc which must be dated at most 2 months to date CDHC receives ur document,also remember the police clearance is only valid for three months i guess.A new bank statement.

the girl u meet on Friday at the medical center is a friend of mine, she told me she also meet u there.she is from maple, slim and little fair in complexion.

@mchuxx, i submitted on the 26th may and it was received on the 27th may and my program starts 6th of sep.I wont resign until i am called for medicals.

thanks for the prompt reply.I think that explains the reason a friend of mine who submitted on the 16th of may is called to do his medical today at yaba, however he submitted thru maple.

@all, is it necessary to show evidence of school fees payment to CDHC.Do they issue visas without the evidence of tuition fee?

@chizquare, u dont have to waith till the 10th week, have u considered u will have to do ur medicals.u can contact them so long its b/w the 30-40 working days.
@mchuxx, when is ur school starting and when did u submit the application that made them refuse to process it.

@tolyem, When did u make the submission to CDHC? if it is this month or late last month, then maybe u ommited something.when is ur program starting cos if it is still more than 90 days u can quickly do what ever they tell u too and resubmit.
@longecity, u very lucky to av been called for medicals this quick.God is at wok.

@kingsley, may be u need to give us the details of the interview u had at CDHC
@EPICWIN, u shuld submit ur application quickly cos time is runing out.u could get a declaration of age from any high or magistrate court.That will do.
@all, how much does the medicals cost.

@Dennyflex001, the application for the study visa is an individual thing.Decisions are made based on the information u give them.So long Ur sponsor has steady source of income and can prove that thru the documents submitted, the issue of landed property might not come in.

@Sosodat, I think the best option is for her to apply for a visiting visa with you has her sponsor.remember much reference will be made to the family composition form u previously submitted and Ur present financial capability.

I actually got it wrong. The information on the DHL website was acknowledgment of the receipt of payment for the return courier. They did not indicate the documents were picked up. My application is still with them. Thanks all for the concern. I was just a little nervous.
